"Thanks again - it's so unusual for testimonials (e.g. the ones we read on website's) to be actually true!".....

I bought your book in the summer and now have a wonderful (if I do say so myself) kitchen to show for it. I know how important customer recommendations are so I thought I'd get in touch. I bought a B&Q kitchen and - as expected - it came with little or no instructions and the ones it did have were useless.

"This book made the world of difference and has really helped me get a professional finish. I didn't quite have the guts to attempt to fit my own (laminate) worktop. But everything else I did myself and I'm really chuffed with the result. Money well spent, I only wish I'd bought it before I even started planning the kitchen as there were some useful bits on that too that I might have done differently. Anyone whose half decent at DIY should give building a kitchen a go - as long as they have this."...
The following are genuine brief extracts from e-mails received from recent buyers of the book.
"Thanks for the book and your helpful e-mails about my slide out larder, all sorted now. I just wanted to say l ordered the book after l had brought the kitchen but followed your advice and got nearly £300 back from parts l didn't really need. Anyway it really did give me confidence to believe l could fit it and l did, my wife is over the moon and l must say l wouldn't mind fitting another one now."...
Hat's off to Steve for this book - lots of little tips to help you fit your own kitchen - helped me a lot anyway!!

The way you have set out the instructions is good & they are easy to follow ...the fees I was quoted for my kitchen being fitted are very high and I'd rather try it myself with some good information I can follow...

The whole book has been very helpful and easy to understand, good luck with it ...

I saved lots of work by buying the kitchen using your planning section. It was information like that that made the book for me. The shopping list at the back was very good and saved my time hunting down parts or buying the wrong one....

This book really is the dogs dangleys. Does exactly what it says on the tin, and more. Thank you Steve

It saved me lots of money when l returned the unwanted bits at the end, thanks for the advice.....

Great book, well written and easy to follow...
I have omitted senders names from the above only for modesty reasons - if you are the writer of one - Thank You

This book is exactly what I've been looking for and as yet have been unable to find - not flashy, but very much more than basic, the practical tips and advice are as can only be gained from experience, and the 'how to' section are what make this book a cut above the rest. DIY books generally seem to be written without this real practical advice and seem very theoretical in comparison . Also the Screwfix references are very useful.

"and what i have managed to read so far, i know that I'm going to get my moneys worth from your book."...
